The Texas Trailhead Podcast Epidode 8: McKinney Falls State Park and My Astral Trail Runner Review

In this episode I’m going to talk about McKinney Falls state park located in Austin, TX. McKinney Falls is probably one of my favorite state parks, but mostly because it’s the closest to me.  This place has some amazing history here including a stop on the El Camino Real, remnants of the McKinney family, and the Smith family who are responsible for donating this land.  I’m also going to give a quick recap on my current trail runners, the Astral mesh 1 shoe. Let you know what to expect with this particular style, what its best purposes are and how they’re holding up a few months in.  Find the Astral Shoes here.
